This is for pointing your satellite dish and finding the satellite quickly. Without this the installation could take hours. It works with all the dishes and receivers we sell. It has a dial to control the sensitivity, to find the satellite you want the highest sensitivity, fine tuning will be a lower senitivity. This is highly recommened for self installation.
